This Saturday evening our annual clock fiddling takes place once again.
An hour forward to Daylight Savings Time, payback for that extra hour of sleep, we enjoyed so much back in November.
We awoke this morning to a winter wonderland.
Soft, wet snowflakes, blanketing the ground, cocooning us in a world of silence.
No accumulation, it's as if Mother Nature took her powdered sugar shaker, and gave the landscape a sprinkling.
Magical.

Oh Jo, that's not normal in March. Or, it shouldn't be.
Beautiful...my brother sent me a couple of pictures this morning from his home in Tennessee with snow covering the buttercups! Spring time in TN!!! Love it!
And yes, the bulbs will have to wait to be planted:)But, they will have a great home!
Golly. Does it usually snow in March, that far south?
It was beautiful this morning while it lasted. I still remember around this time in 1993 when my town on the Plateau got 25 inches of snow.
Beautiful.
We had a similar snow last evening. We are told more will be coming on Sunday afternoon. I can appreciated it as I know it won't stay for very long. Your caught some beautiful photos of the snow falling.
It would be wonderful to wake to power snow outside but I might stay in bed for the rest of the day.
Merle..................
Just look at that beautiful snow! I'm so jealous! It completely missed us but we got the freezing cold temps.
I have mixed feelings about this time change...it's so hard to get up at the early time but the light in the evening is great!
Looks just like the snow we woke up to today!
Our clocks also change tonight BUT our lawmakers have said this is the last time it will take place. After tonight, after this last change, our clocks will always stay the same. So exciting we don't have to go back and forth in the Fall and the Spring.
Enjoy your snowy weekend!

Those photos are gorgeous. I haven't seen snow like that for years here in the UK & we live in the supposed frozen North! I remember the silence of the snow even in towns it seems to turn the sound down!
I do love it when the clocks go forward & we get the lighter nights. Also love that extra hour in bed when they go back for winter.
You should not be showing me snow so late in March, should you? :-)
I like the time change as we get lots more day light longer . Lovely photos . Spring is only 8 days away but we are to maybe get a snow storm after weeks of no snow and being green . Thanks for sharing , Have a good day !
You write so pretty. Our little snow storm has come and gone and was not nearly as pretty as yours. The tulips are just beautiful!
Your snow is so pretty. I enjoyed your pictures so much. We were blessed with about six inches of the beautiful white. Much of it has melted but we are to get another 6-10 inches beginning tomorrow night (Monday). We've had very little snow this winter, which is quite unusual for us in WV so I am really enjoying this.
The weather has been so complicated. We lost a lot of our snow this day and we had a lot yesterday.
