The timber frame cottage is an iconic part of the English landscape and a reminder of England’s great building time when carpentry and craftsmanship was at it’s finest.
I can only imagine gazing out of my kitchen window, and seeing this quaint little potting shed at the bottom of the garden .....
Purely magical.

I want one! That is just the cutest thing ever. Like having a fairyland in your back yard.
Oh Jo, I'd have thought I died and went to heaven.
I am trying to decide between 2 of them lol
I would live in the potting shed, heck its wonderful
That is just adorable! I want one!
This is so wonderful! Be blessed!
SMITTEN? I dare say I'm in love!!! That's SO awesome. Thanks for sharing!!!
Oh what a wonderful thatched roof shed. A house for a hobbit or one of their many friends. Absolutley delightful
It doesn't look real! Absolutely charming but the downside is it probably costs a fortune to maintain.
So charming and so YOU!!! And so ME, as well--what IS it about thatched cottages that calls to the makes the Little Girl in us? Perhaps it's that no matter what size, they have such a cunning little fairytale or dollhouse aura about them. I got left behind by my tour group at Stratford, for standing transfixed and enchanted, gazing my eyes full of Miss Anne's cottages. Missed all that main street of sightseeing and shopping, so I just bought a tee-ninecy book of the sonnets, found a low wall beneath a great bough of yellow roses, and read every one in that sunshiny place where they came to be.
I DO declare, if nothing else, "bottom of the garden" gets my Austen/Pooh/Ratty and Mole happies on every time.
Stay warm and well!
