How I'll Miss You, When You're Gone
What seems like forever in the making, the Heavenly Blue Morning Glories are finally in bloom.
They'll share their flowers until the first frost.
They are always so beautiful. I remember that they were not so late for you as this year. My four locations of plants have not a single bloom. I think that it should happen before the snow falls. My neighbor's cornfield of course has blooms everywhere.
Beautiful. Most of our flowers here in Texas have given up already with too many days of triple digit sunshine and no rain. A sad place for someone from England to live! Ann
My morning glories are only a couple of inches tall--mostly due to the fact that our summer monsoons didn't begin until about July 27 instead of in June. I don't know if they'll get enough time to bloom before the frosts arrive.
They certainly are a heavenly colour. I've never seen them here to buy so I assume they don't fare too well in the cold north of England. Our soil is clay too so not good for borders. I'll have to enjoy your photos!
Lovely, lovely! Only twice have I grown them on my fence and had them look like this! I love them! I need to remember to plant seeds next year...they aren't perennial here. Are yours?

I love morning glories but they are considered a weed around here and most people pull them up or poison them. They do choke things out.
Kathy: This particular variety is called Heavenly Blue, and is an annual planting, unlike the ones that return year after year without any help.
