And The Rains Came
We have been deluged with rain today, buckets of the stuff......unrelenting and soaking everything in sight. The wind is howling and creating havoc.
The county fair has opened it's gates, with an expected 500,000 visitors.
Never fails.........
The rains started in north Texas when I finally decided on a roof contractor ( and settled on a color). It's a good thing the roof isn't leaking because the 'river' in the alley has been pretty full this past week. I think it is supposed to stop raining mid-week
Yes and it was the same here too Jo. Our church had its open day on Saturday and that too received a deluge of rain, after two weeks of nothing! Good old Tennessee rain, I remember it well.

Oh no, it never fails. Here it always rains Memorial Day weekend. We've had sprinkles, but it is cooler and I am happy with that.
Glad you got the rain. We had so much the beginning of summer, and now nothing. Doesn't it figure it would pour for the fair.
The fair did all that? Yes, it happens like that sometimes. Love the rain. Can I have some? :-)
You're right, it never does fail to come when you want it the least!!

What a peaceful little snippet.

Yes if we were in a drought we would be out there dancing around in circles. I like the moving picture show.
