And The Rains Came
We have been deluged with rain today, buckets of the stuff......unrelenting and soaking everything in sight.
The wind is howling and creating havoc.
The trees are shedding the last of their leaves, Winter is fast approaching.
It was a big one Jo. Glad it's gone. Leaves were stripped off trees and it's pretty muddy around here. Got my first see catalog the other day though and still lots of tulips to plant.
We had heavy rain and wind this afternoon. Rain is still falling, and I expect the leaves have been blown from the trees now. It has been a lovely fall here.
This was our weather over Monday and Tuesday with hurricane force winds up to 150 km. Thankfully it's over for now. I hope your weather settles down too.
Our rain came in last night. It poured all night and has just now begun to slack off. Now the wind is blowing. I've got to clean the leaves from the bird baths! Why does everything in your yard always look pretty! :) You should see the mass of oak leaves packed in the b bird baths here.
Today started out gloomy and just got darker and more dreary. The cats gave up and went back to bed. I am so tempted to join them. It is 4:30 ... and almost dark .. :(

We had torrential rains here in Texas yesterday. Today was glorious. Hopefully you will have nice weather tomorrow.
We were supposed to have those howling winds and they never came! I guess they went south! :)

Lovely picture, we've had the same the same here, very strong winds and lots of rain...
It sounds like it was a monsoon. We are getting our very first snow today. It isn't impressive as of yet but might be after a while.
