Make Hay While The Sun Shines

The rains have finally stopped, and the sunshine has returned, at least for now.
Do you know how tall the grass can grow when you skip a few lawn-mowings ?
Infinitely so........

Blue skies and sunshine and finally a chance to return to the garden.

Farmers are trying to get their hay baled.
Baling wet hay is just asking for trouble.

I like to dot solar-powered lights and whimsical pieces between the flowers and plants.
This sweet little bird faucet lights up at night, and looks like bubbling water is flowing from it's spout.
Whatever your plans this weekend, I hope they are filled with sunshine and flowers ~

That hay bale picture made me hungry for cereal. I used to eat some that looked like that. :-)

So glad you are able to enjoy the out of doors already. We've had a dry week, but it is still too muddy to mow. No one hereabout has begun to hay. Enjoy your days, dear Jo.

I love to watch them cut the hay, bail it and throw it into the wagons. The field across from us gets hayed and I sit out and watch them if I get the chance. It relaxes me as I sit and have a cup of tea.

Smashing pictures, I particularly like the close up of the flower and of course the red wellie on the fence...

All pictures beautiful Jo and I love your bird tap. Isn't that so cute! I've never seen such long hay bales! The surrounding countryside looks beautiful too.

You have taken some great shots. I have an angel apparently in storage as I saw your angel and thought what happened to mine. Your spring to summer comes earlier than ours but we will catch up with you.
