A Walk In The Woods

Now is the time of the illuminated woods.......
when every leaf glows like a tiny lamp.

~ John Burroughs

Oak trees come out of acorns, no matter how unlikely that seems.
An acorn is just a tree's way back into the ground.
For another try.
Another trip through.
One life for another.

Thank you for the lovely pictures today Jo. After all the horrors on our TV screens lately, I needed that!

Really enjoyed the pictures. Would love to walk in those woods. It is still raining here and the ticks are going to be bad this year, so I'll have to enjoy the virtual woodland.

You have a wonderful woods in which to walk. Your trees are leafed out sooner but I expect that. You certainly are very green now. The white wild flowers are striking against the background. Great photos that you have shared.
