A Saintly View
Despite the heat of late August, the morning glories are happily blooming away.
Everything else in the garden has withered and surrendered, or so it seems.
I'm patiently waiting for the cooler, albeit shorter days of Autumn, to appear.
My Morning Glory's are still as fresh and jubilant looking as ever--even with this horrible drought in CA. I just stumbled on your blog today. It just made my heart glad--thank you. Blessings to you.
I love your morning glories and love the fact you have St Francis looking over all. I just love our St Francis. And also I have my mom's Blessed Virgin. She is out looking after our grove.
I think it is the heat that makes them thrive. Mine aren't getting enough sun to make very many blooms. I have only two white blooms out today as it rained a lot again last night.

Me too, Jo. I am sick of these 100 degree days. Even in the evening, my glasses fog up and I have to go in and take a shower.

The Morning Glories are beautiful...like everything you do. Your place is like a story book.
They are beautiful I am going back to the blue next spring. The pink and light blues just don't get it.
