One of those days, where the temperature has cooled, and the humidity has returned to the point of tolerable.
A breezy porch-sitting day.
Summer is the time when one sheds one's tensions with one's clothes, and the right kind of day is jeweled balm for the battered spirit.
A few of those days and you can become drunk with the belief that all's right with the world.

We are appreciating the same relief here a bit East of you. Temps are to be in the fifties tonight. Maybe open windows. Your music gets to my soul. I am of Welch heritage.
Jo, I love to sit on the porch. I will sit out and write letters to my sister. Or read a magazine. Some times I just watch the birds. Hope we get a few more of these wonderful low humidity days. Blessings, xoxo,Susie
I would love my porch to look like this someday!
It is mid July and over cast, threatening rain, the countryside is emerald green. Am I still in the arid plains of Colorado? Love you porch. It is the quintessential porch for sitting.
I love my porches. I am lucky enough to have 2. A open front porch and a small screened porch on the back. I enjoy these porches immensely. I so wish summer lasted longer up here in NE.
Your porch is so inviting.
You have inspired me to clear my smaller porch and put out one chair in which I can sit. I like porches and being outside.
