Gone...

Our dear family members are flying across the Atlantic ocean as I type.
Returning home to England, after spending a week filled with laughter, a wedding, and much tea-drinking.
The house is now eerily quiet, yet oddly enough I still hear their voices echoing amongst it's walls.
" More tea anyone ?"
*Sigh*

John, sadly it never gets any easier saying goodbye.
I'm off to drown myself in Yorkshire tea, and chocolate digestive biscuits :)

Don't drown! But hope they brought you over a generous supply of both!
Glad it went well, and you had a good time.

I know you had much fun and so sad to see them go.

I hate that quietness that lingers when loved ones leave. But I'm glad you had a wonderful time.

Sure would love to see some real pictures of the wedding & of your visit together.

Love~ Andrea

There is always a bit of a letdown after an occasion such as this, Jo. If only the distance were not so far....

Ah, it sounds as if it has been a marvelous time for you. We have our English friends visiting too, so I know all about the endless cups of tea, and we're off to a wedding for my niece in a week's time. Our path's for merriment seem to be crossing.

So glad to hear you had such a marvelous time with your family. I understand it is a bit too quiet now they have left. But you have certainly lots of sweet memories, so take another cup of delicious Yorkshire tea. |Such fun to see this picture of the picknicking family.
