Daily Ritual

Time to change the teapot from the Summer Pansies back to the Blue Willow design.
I confess to being a tea addict, it's the first thing that passes my lips in a morning and the last thing at night, even going so far as taking a cuppa to bed with me.

I got the addiction honestly, and put it down to all those times we English children were offered milky tea in our bottles as we were growing up.
Yes, they start us at an early age.

Strange how a teapot can represent at the same time the comforts of solitude and the pleasures of company.

The container, the spout, the whole activity that is involved makes tea drinking almost a ceremony. I really like you tea pot. We have cheap reproductions of blue willow dishes that we still enjoy.

I have no doubt that it is a comforting ritual, as well as a delicious drink.

It's so funny that you are switching to fall. It is still so hot and summery here in Miami. Just thinking fall makes me sweat! Have a great day.

I love pretty teapots, Jo, but that first one is by far my favorite! So lovely!

I, too, love tea. Your pots are lovely. I love to make a pot of tea curl up with a good book and for added pleasure a little sweet.

I'm in a minority here! It's coffee that does it for me.

I still love your pots though...!

I would have a hard time putting that beautiful pansy covered teapot away for the year! But when the air turns chilly and the fire feels good the blue willow pot will be a welcome sight!
