Tales of a British expat transplanted into the lush Tennessee countryside.
Lover of old, time-worn, and antique.
Tea-drinker, flower-grower, animal-lover.
We are getting it off and on each day. The mild tempertures were welcome.
I think the ground is still a little thirsty.:) We have no rain today, but our gauge measured two inches from the other days this week. It has really been good for the berries, and the second planting of corn seems to be growing before our very eyes!:)Have a good week-end!
Wow, I'm wishing for a little rain too but gosh it all looks gorgeous!
Three days of non-stop rain sounds like heaven in Indiana right now. Send it our way!
So true, so true. I wished for a broken leg when I was 11 so I could walk on crutches...the very next day I broke my leg...crutches not what I thought they would be. Send some of the rain wishes our way...we could sure use it.
....else we shall call you Oregon

Sharyn McCrumb wrote of "prayers the devil answers." I'm not yet ready to put this rain into that category, however.
Wow! Feast or famine, I guess. Or is it Dry or Deluge?
A welcome relief for those parched grounds I'm sure. Your ferns are drinking it in and looking very lush.Paul
Please don't send it this way - we, on this side of the pond, have been praying for sun since May!Dix
