No Takers
Even the birds seem too busy with their Spring cleaning, to stop awhile at the feeders. So much fluffing and tweaking going on.
Our birds here are still flocking our feeders, I have read the spring time is a important time for feeding the birds as they need the food for strength for building nests and having their baby's, guess thats why our feeders are still busy lol. Have a wonderful spring day.
Good Morning Jo! The same thing is happening at our feeders too. I guess there's enough food out there now that spring has arrived or they're just too busy finding mates and building nests! Probably both. Love is in the air ;) I hope you have a wonderful day. Maura :)
Hi Jo! I hope you are doing well, and enjoying spring!! It's slow at the feeders here too--I'm seeing the birds gather the dog-hair that I've put out for them to use in their nests. I love that their hair is going to be keeping baby birds warm!
Time to throw out the yarn scraps! I love to see those bits of color wound into the nests. No hairy yarns tho. The single hairs wind around those tiny toes and cut off circulation.
It's been quieter around here too. Both birds and blogger have been doing some spring cleaning, and I have company coming this weekend as an added incentive. I do have those cheeky squirrels standing up on their hind legs and peering through the patio door, saying "peanuts please". It's my reminder that I am a little late putting them out that morning!

Same here. The hummingbirds are busy at the feeders though.

I have a nice pile of dryer lint ready to go out this year. But, I have to wait a little here, before nesting season starts.
That's true here, too. We've had rain, so most of the birds seem to be on the ground catching bugs, worms, and perhaps our grass seeds!

They are all a dither for eggs in their nests, incubation begins feeding on hold.
Not so many of my regulars coming now, but the starlings seem to keep me cleaned out. :-)

I have more birds than I know what to do with! I love them though.
