Pondering.

You know how it goes.....
Everything in your life seems to be running along nicely, at it's own pace, and then out of the blue you're thrown a curve ball.

The First Sergeant has been dealing with a variety of health issues over the past few months, this weekend included time spent in the ER.

Why does it always take a "slap upside the head" to make us realize that life is not guaranteed, each day is a blessing, and to tell those you love, just how much.

You're so right that we so often are oblivious to the blessings of a good day, sunshine, the fragrance of muffins in the oven, the joyous colors of flowers, or the many nuances that float to our senses on the wind or breeze. I have a framed note card by my sewing machine that says "May this day bring you joy". It's a good reminder to notice and be grateful.

I hope Himself is on the road to a quick recovery and your lives can be rich in peace and joy once again.

Hugs!

I've always thought that these things happen for a reason. This may be God's way of simply reminding us all that we are starting to get ahead of ourselves. Besides, every now and then we need a glimpse of how truly blessed we are.
Hoping a peaceful night of sleep finds its way to you soon!

Jo, I do hope all is okay. These things always happen at the worst of times - never according to plan and convenience, out of the blue. Just have to hold on for the ride.

Yes it isn't a perfect world and there are bumps along the way. I hope his problems level out and he sees it go away.

Yes, sometimes we need that reminder to give us a reason to savor what we have. I am keeping you close to my heart and sending you vibrational hugs. Keep us posted on what's going on. I am not the only one who cares...

None of us is getting any younger. Look after him. And remember to look after yourself too.

Wise words Jo, do hope your Love is doing much better now. Those 'slap upside the head' can come as quite a shock. Sending healing thoughts and energies from my part of Virginia.

Thank you for all of your kind thoughts and well wishes. We seem to be going around in circles, one minute OK next minute not so good.
On to more meds and professional opinions, maybe they will all put their thoughts down on paper, pop 'em in a Mason jar, give 'em a good shake, and come up with an answer......and pigs may fly.
The frustration is harder to cope with than the actual problem(s).
