Beyond The Garden Gate...

Through the gate is something more.
Does it make you wonder?
What lies beyond the garden gate?
What majesty? What splendor?

One of the most delightful things about a garden is the anticipation it provides.

I like how a gate that has an opening in it gives you a sense of wonder, to be curious what is behind it. When you get to see a glimpse, it makes one so more wanting to go through the gate. A nice blog and great music too.

What a lovely collection of gates. I wish I had any one of them in my own garden.

Great collection of gates, Jo... We always wonder (when we approach a gate) just what is on the other side, don't we??????

Have a great Sunday.

Wonderful post, we would think things are always better on the other side of the gate. Or was that fence.

Beautiful gates and promises of the life beyond. I have always loved the walled gardens with vegetables and flowers contained therein. Thank you for showing me these lovely gates.

I really liked this post. I can't decide what gate I liked the best.
I kind of feel the same way about a bend in the road in the woods..I always wonder what just lays beyond...just out of sight....
