Mist-Laden

The earth is soaked from three days of rain,  leaving us with an eerie landscape this morning.
Long winter days are now warming, blue skies and sunshine, what could be more soul-stirring.
Today reached a high of 73 degrees, balmy for a January winter's day.
Perfect for doing a few outdoor chores.

Jo, I am longing for a sunny day. It's all I need.

Seems like everyone is wishing for a sunny day. I think the rain that just left you is headed our way. It has been dark and dreary all day. We could get up to two inches of rain tomorrow with a possible thunderstorm. :( Spring is getting closer.

Wonder, of wonders we had sunshine all day this Saturday.
Temps in the 70's.
Storms coming ! They had Tornado south of us.

Beautiful photo. I love fog and mist! We were gray, damp and in the 50's....warm for us, too!

We too are having our spring thaw but not at 73 degrees. That wold really make it foggy. Your mist laden day is a great shot.

We had sunshine today, too...for the first time in days.

Jo, These temperatures are amazing for this time of year. I only had a sweater on while raking the pine needles yesterday. I hope our wonderful trees and plants don't wake up too early. I love the misty shot of the woods there. I hope you are doing well and enjoying life. Blessings to you, xoxo, Susie

Well, color me pessimistic. The too warm days here in Illinois with all the rain is a concern for our livestock, our fruit trees. We need a good freeze to kill the ebbing bacteria and to make it easier to do outside chores, too much mud! But I did enjoy hanging our laundry this past Saturday. :)
