Serendipity

Upon returning home from errand-running yesterday,  I scheduled a visit to my latest little farmhouse chic boutique, that lies along the route.

Just as the word Serendipity explains a 'fortunate happenstance'.......

The store owner had packed her little cottage full of spring merchandise,  I couldn't  have been more delighted.

Granddaughter Time

I spent the afternoon with my beautiful granddaughter.

She found one of the sweetest boutiques, their inventory mostly farmhouse style and shabby chic.

I think I could have spent the entire day there, everything beautifully displayed, and the owner a delight.

I had a little splurge, buying several items, this new farmhouse soap dish being one of them.

And brown-paper wrapped lavender bouquets, whose scent wafts gently throughout the house and makes me smile.
