Rain has fallen on and off for most of the day, making for the perfect opportunity to gather my Thanksgiving recipes.
Our Thanksgiving is a low-key affair, since like most families, our little close family, now includes in-laws, and extended family members, and time has to be split between both.
That's ok too, this way we all have a chance to enjoy family, food and fellowship, and be grateful for the many blessings.

I like the idea of Thanksgiving. I have so much to be grateful for. One thing I'd be grateful for after reading your post is that I didn't have to cook for a big extended family lol. Small gatherings sounds lovely.
Happy Thanksgiving
I'm thankful for so much. And, I am thankful I have my blogging buddies to share my life with. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving!
We will have a small Thanksgiving dinner here on the holiday for the two of us and then Sunday will be the day we spend with family. I’ll keep it simple on the actual holiday with a turkey, dressing, and cranberries.
I love the British mug. I think cocoa would be so great. Families do evolve and doing things together if it works. My mom wouldn't behave well so we couldn't put things together like that later on.
I do like your mug.
Early good wishes for Thanksgiving.
All the best Jan
