Starting off the day with incredible blue skies and low humidity, as rare as hen's teeth in these Southern parts of the United States.
The Mr. takes on the task of washing the house today, no small feat I can tell you.
Norseman's blood runs through my veins, after the temperature rises above 80 degrees I'm wilted like a head of week-old lettuce.
The best I can do is be the cold-water runner, when I spot the worker flailing.
*Sigh*

Thankfully you didn't move to Texas. When I lived in San Angelo, 110 degrees (Fahrenheit) was an average summer temp. But humidity was very low, often below zero (like minus 6!!).
The heat seems to be diminishing here in TN. I hope you're not wilting like lettuce!
Welcoming promised lower temps. Your are
fortunate to have the Mr. for that mighty task
and he is likewise lucky to have your hydration
service at the ready.
Bless you, it can get so hot! "It's not the heat, it's the humidity". I say it is both!
Humidity is a killer. Hope your washer man is able to finish the job without wilting. Maybe a shower under the hose now and again
Hi Jo! Yes, the heat and humidity can get you. Here in Texas we were without A/C for about 5 days. Luckily it didn't get over 87 F in the house before being replaced. But being from New Orleans, humidity doesn't bother me as much as some. But Fall is coming...
This weather feels wonderful! I walked and walked outside because of it the last two days.
Jo...I am with you when it comes to heat and humidity. Bet though the Mr. is happy when you bring him a cold drink. Hugs!
It's the humidity that's the worst ... cold drinks are a very good idea.
All the best Jan
I too need to wash my house. I am stalling on the timing but it will need to be in the next few weeks. Your ferns are so wonderful on that wonderful porch. Beautiful.
