A late night thunderstorm gave us some much needed moisture
The little pond is overflowing.
Soft rainfall makes for happy flowers, and one grateful little frog.

Cold, wet leaves
Floating on moss-colored water
And the croaking of frogs -
Cracked bell-notes in the twilight.

The amount of rain we are getting should yield lots of May flowers. There was a thunderstorm here last night, too.
"moss-colored water" and "cracked bell notes". I like that.....
So beautiful there. We had rain that night too.
April showers bring May flowers. Love that. And that is how it is here too. Plenty of showers and sunshine. By May Day when everywhere makes a wreath of wild flowers there will be plenty of choice
And more is on the way. Dry here. Planted some seeds but need to do much more. Still caring for my husband and don't have time or energy to do much. Think of you from time to time. I have started falling; balance is off so I have to be very careful. A peanut can trip me up. I can't fall and get too hurt for my husband's sake. I am filling easter eggs for the great Nonna easter egg hunt. I hope the rain doesn't wash it out. My two older grandchild 15 & 17 still run around with the littles, 6,7 & 10, trying to find the golden egg. Take care dear Jo.
A very nice collection of photographs.

It is a wonderful post. I like the roofed entrance and the water flowing though your frog.
