April Showers, Bring May Flowers

A steady spring rain has fallen all day.

The little pond is overflowing.
Soft rainfall makes for happy flowers, and one grateful little frog.

Cold, wet leaves
Floating on moss-colored water
And the croaking of frogs -
Cracked bell-notes in the twilight.

Such a beautiful post! And Jo, I absolutely loved your Easter post...so adorable. The real Easter bunny probably lives in your home. Wouldn't surprise me. :)

You have a beautiful garden. No Spring rain here but a winter snow storm. Pretty normal for April, the snow won't stick around long.

I wrote a comment the other day but I'm positive that I forgot to press the "publish" icon! Anyway, the greenery in your photos is lovely and soothing. Here in my neck of the TN woods we had frost and snow showers last night!

Spring in all its glory is greening forth in your lovely corner. You create
such a welcoming atmosphere indoors and out, Jo, making visits a delight...
and the tea and scones...what a treat.
