View Through My Window

I've enjoyed this view of the flowering Cherry Tree for well over a month now.
Each year it graces us with it's beauty, and is always the first in bloom before all others.
The recent frost has taken it's toll, but I'm certain it will return next year, emerging from her own winter of storms, freeze, winds, and drought, still standing, still surviving, still blooming, still giving.

It is a beautiful tree. My red bud is close to just now blooming. Our neighbor has a tree that looks similar to this. I have to lean way out on my deck to actually see it.

That's lovely. The trees barely have buds here. The weather is supposed to get better in a few days. It's been a very cold wet Spring so far.

What a beautiful tree, and what a beautiful sight to see from your window. Can you believe the ups and downs in the weather this spring? I know what you mean about carrying the ferns into the garage, was it eleven times? I'm about tired of carrying out that armload of old sheets and tablecloths too, but only four times for me. :)
