We awoke to another snowfall this morning.
Beautiful to look at, but I have the suspicion folks are really looking for a few constant days of sunshine right about now.
Announced by all the trumpets of the sky,
Arrives the snow, and, driving o'er the fields,
Seems nowhere to alight: the whited air
Hides hills and woods, the river, and the heaven,
And veils the farmhouse at the garden's end.
The sled and traveller stopped, the courier's feet
Delayed, all friends shut out, the housemates sit
Around the radiant fireplace, enclosed
In a tumultuous privacy of storm.

Lovely snow!
I love, love the ivy on your arbor and your sweet cardinal. All the photos are lovely and restful! I love the snow but also appreciate the fact that like you we don't have it here in Missouri in April or May like in Colorado. I think we may get some tonight.
Yes, the snow is lovely to watch. In our area we haven’t had the snow that was predicted, though other portions of our county may have more. It will stay around awhile as very cold temperatures are predicted for tonight!
Such stunning photos! You have the ability to make snow look somehow cozy!
As always love your photos. You've got the knack!
We woke up to snow today too. I hope it goes away as quickly as it came. You have a super day, hugs, Edna B.
It is so pretty to look out your windows at the snow. Yes, I am one of those needing several days of sunshine and it looks like winter has just arrived here. :(
Very nice snowy photographs.
Keep warm and safe.
All the best Jan
Beautiful blog
You captured some great snow fall shots. I like the ones of after the snow with the build up of snow on birdhouses or bird feeders. The snow does quiet things down a bit.
