Spring Days

Our typical March weather roars in like a lion, tornado warnings, high winds and torrential rain.
The temperatures in the mid-seventies, perfect for Spring clean-up, except the rain continues to fall by the bucket-load.

A flock of wild turkeys have taken up residence in the yard, standing in the rain, as if they are enjoying a gentle shower.

It's an encouraging sight to see forty or more wild turkeys when other areas of the state, are experiencing a decline in numbers.

Scratching through the wet soil.
Unfazed and happy.

Those turkeys sure don't seem bothered by the rain! Such great pictures. :-)

Amazing sky!!
We have a lot of wild turkeys around here where I live too. They are quite large birds!

I love all your turkeys! Ours did not come around every day this winter. I'm not sure why. We missed them. Enjoy your beautiful wildlife, hugs, Edna B.

Thost turkeys know what they are doing. I would pick your place to hang out too. Aren't they beautiful! Dan would have a fit. Turkey season comes in next week. :( I'm dreading it.

I missed seeing this so I am catching up. Turkeys are so good and bad. I had unusual clouds forming this morning.
