Winter Nesting

Cocooned in a blanket of ice and snow, our days are not much different from the isolating COVID days.
Days seem to run into weeks and weeks into months.
Many businesses are shuttered closed, employees unable to navigate the treacherous roads, especially the more rural ones that are left untreated.
I'm extremely grateful for a refrigerator and pantry full of food, and a house that is warm and cozy.
Others are not so lucky.

Glad to hear you also have plenty to eat and a warm house to snuggle up in. I also am so thankful because as you said that is not the case for everyone. Prayers for everyone who is struggling right now. Stay warm!

Nice to have a nice cozy home but I sure enjoy being outside in the snow.

Life sure seems difficult for many these days. I'm just glad you are safe and warm.

Yes, stay safe. We are already kept in to stay away for the disease but the snow does make the days so much longer.
