News From Gobbler's Knob

Rabbits have been making a show in the garden.
Nibbling on the new shoots of grass.
The songbirds are once again appearing , a good sign that life is beginning to awaken.
Punxsutawney Phil  has predicted an early spring, maybe in these southern states, the poor folks in other parts of the country, digging out of the snow, will be harder to convince......
We're having a balmy 70 degrees of sunshine today, how's that for a treat !

Love that name. Not many signs of spring around here. Another storm brewing on the horizon.

Not many signs of spring here. February can be pretty bad but March is the worst as you start to expect better weather.

Your table is so pretty, Jo. I'm ready for a little bit warmer weather and am really looking forward to daylight getting earlier each day. I'm looking forward to being able to drive to work in the daylight.

Oh I love love love your lamp
Where did you get it if you don't mind me asking

Linda, I bought the lamp at an antique shop, together with an old school desk, and the lady who owned the store was an artist, who decorated three pieces (one being the lampshade) with the Peter Rabbit theme.

Spring is slowly, slowly arriving …
We have some snowdrops out and the daffodils are beginning to shoot up, in fact some early ones have bloomed!

Take Care.

All the best Jan

I love that window and everything on the table is so beautiful. Can you believe this weather. It has been in the 70's here today. I just hope the trees and plants don't bud and then freeze a week from now. Hope you're feeling better.
