We are in for a week of HOT weather, the kind more suited to late summer days.
The songbirds have taken to their nests, they have been busily feathering and fluffing.
Schoolchildren are excited to close the books on another school year.
The Lightning Bugs have returned, twinkling their way through the darkness.
And the rhythm of life continues....

Such serene pictures. Love your pretty bumblebee... :-)
In spite of the heat, your flowers are looks so good. You like your sculptures and I like them too. I have a couple that I haven’t put out yet.
I always love stopping in for a visit with you because of your beautiful pictures. Oh to be able to be there in person and see your lovely garden for myself! It must take an awful lot of work to keep it so pristine and beautiful.
I have to say that you have one of the prettiest yards I've ever seen. It's really beautiful, and a treat to look at the photos of it. I love seeing the bee in your garden. They are very precious to our life. You have a wonderful day, hugs, Edna B.
Although so "natural", it is certain your pristine garden
took much planning and dedicated labor to bring it to fruition.
What a joy to view. Thank you for sharing.
I found your blog from my visit to Nana Diana Takes a Break. We were chatting and I noticed your blog name in her side bar. Very nice blog name but your yard is amazing. We livid where it was somewhat wild. You have achieved what we did five years ago in our old house. Made this kept nicely with so many pretty plants with a touch of whimsy.

Your garden is such a joy to look at. Here in northeast Ohio we are freezing!
Absolutely gorgeous! We are still wearing sweaters in the mornings! But there is a promise that the temps will reach 80 this afternoon!
You are so much more ahead this Spring than we are in Michigan. Do the flowers last longer? It seems they just about bloom and are done here, I suppose they have to get on with things in such a short growing season. I suppose I am glad that it takes awhile to get going because then it's all over with so soon........love your garden. How big is it?

Oh, I would love to walk through your garden gate and into all that beauty. It always looks cool and green there, but your flowers are so bright and colorful. We have very hot weather coming for the end of this week High 90's and humid.
Your last photo is my favorite. Love the dark woods with the green tree on the right front. Beautiful!
Wonderful garden.
Great photos.
