On Hold

My plans were to start a little outdoor spring cleaning this weekend, but you know what they say about the best-laid plans of mice and men.........
The weather has turned wet and cold, with whispers of snow in the forecast,  so most of the cleaning will take place on the inside, accompanied by a cozy fire, and pots of tea galore.
Hoping your weekend is warm and cozy.

We have had a few days warm enough to do a bit of gardening and hang washing in the sun
Good luck with the cleaning

The good thing about cleaning is that the chores wait for you. haha. They're nice like that! :) I started a massive inside spring cleaning over the weekend. Oh my. Might take til June to get it done. Hope you stay warm...we're covered in snow again!

Jo, I love the cozy little mice in this picture. Ted and I have been snuggled up with our fireplace going too. It's been so cold here the past two day and tomorrow will be another. Blessings to you, stay safe and warm. xoxo, Susie

Only 22 degrees here in central Illinois and spots of snow. Chores outside still such a hassle BUT temps are predicted to shoot up to near 50 this Sat so I too plan lots of outdoor cleanup time. My hoes are crossed.

I just love those little mice, all cuddled up and keeping each other warm. Spring is coming. Really, it is. It's just a bit timid. As for the chores, that's always a laugh with me. I start, but they don't always get finished. You have a wonderful day, hugs, Edna B.

If the choice were between cleaning chores and reading, I would follow the lead of the two mice.

I love that picture with the little mice. It would be so warm and cozy in that big chair in front of the fireplace.

I love these kinds of illustrations. There is even a little quail keeping warm and the teacups are so tiny.
