My plans were to start a little outdoor spring cleaning this weekend, but you know what they say about the best-laid plans of mice and men.........
The weather has turned wet and cold, and despite the flowers enthusiastically blooming their little hearts out, there are whispers of snow once again heading our way.
Most of the cleaning will have to take place on the inside, accompanied by a cozy fire, and pots of tea galore.

I've had a day at home as well ~ more snow fell and now the air is icy cold. At least the sun it out! Hope your weather turns better soon!! X Chy
The weekend is definitely a bust for gardening. Maybe next week.
Strange weather... it was 75 earlier today, now storming and going down to the 30's in the morning (here in Texas).
Yes, and yes! I do agree! haha. You can't do spring cleaning with snow on the ground, I say! We got about an inch last night. Still time for coziness and comfort food!
I really like this illustration. It is so cozy for the mice to stay inside.
What a darling and appropriate picture. I am going out now to pick 7 daffodils as we are supposed to get rain/snow here tonight or tomorrow. I am sewing so I will put them in my sewing room!
We are having a wind storm in Oregon today - when will it end? C'mon Spring!
Such a cosy illustrations.. and perfect place to be on a cold day !!!
All this wet and cold is getting old!!!
But today, before the next snow is to come tonight in Illinois, we are planting peas, onions and spinach. Enough is enough, we're acting like it's spring regardless of the temps.
Same miserable weather here. I could just move in with those little mice and be completely happy.
Yes well, I would love to get stuff done outside. Its getting late....still snow and more coming. What happened to April?
Luv Janice
