Tom-Tilly spends most of her day shadowing Oliver, even when he's sleeping. We are convinced she has imprinted on Oliver as her mother, especially as she was such a tiny little kitten when she first appeared from living beneath my potting shed.
It makes us smile, despite Oliver's lack of reciprocation, he knows he's loved, and allows her to eat from the food bowl first.

I love cats, and dogs, and chickens....I love watching them interact, and they are always amazing.
Another beautiful cat...
Nice old chairs too!
.... and both look very well fed. As it should be. *haha* Love this picture!! xxx
Sweet kitties!!! Love watching mine play together and "tolerate" each other at other times:)
I wish I still had my pets. They give such wonderful things to us, don't they?
Wonderful photo.
We have three barn cats, Jackson, Clover and Tiger all named by the grandkids and greatly coddled for outside cats. Their barn area is warm and cozy, their food regular and they are lovely mousers. Love our kitties. Yours are stunning
Jo, Your Oliver is the sweetest cat ever. So pretty too. I like that the cats get along. Blessings to all, xoxo, Susie
Our cats sleep on the dining room chairs, too. haha. In fact we often pull one out to sit and startle a sleeping cat!
These two remind me so much of my Marmalade and Charcoal. Charcoal shadows Marmy much of the time and their coloring is identical. So fun! It's good to have a buddy!
Ah bless them!
That is so sweet. Tom-Tilly watching Oliver sleep. You can just see the love.
Enjoying your blog, I love cats, tea and Tennessee; very nice photographs!
That is so neat that they bonded. We had a grandmother cat who really didn’t want her kitten around after a certain time. They did relate to each other but they were not good friends.
