Tales of a British expat, transplanted into the lush Tennessee countryside. Lover of old, time-worn, and antique. Tea-drinker, flower-grower, animal-nurturer.
I'm with you -- I'd much rather have snow than ice. However, your pictures are beautiful, Jo! I'm in North Carolina, and they're saying we may get snow on Wednesday.
Ice can make some really beautiful pictures... but dangerous to be out in. Love the iced birdhouse...(birds may not), but it looks like something out of the movie, Frozen.
Me too! about choosing snow over ice! Your pictures are beautiful though. They are still talking about snow for us on Wednesday. I would pick sunshine over snow. Don't know how I missed that sweet Oliver Cat sleeping in the sunshine. I would love to hold him.
Oh dear Jo, it looks so cold !! I would always rather have snow than ice. Snow lets one dig out...ice is dangerous. Please be cautious . Sending warm hugs to you. Blessings, xoxo, Susie

Doesn't it look so pretty, lovely photographs.
Stay warm!
All the best Jan
Beautiful and dangerous! Great shots, though. :-)
It looks pretty, not quite as beautiful as snow but I hate driving in ice. Hope it doesn't last. Take care.
Still looks pretty in a way.

Stay safe and warm and have a great weekend!

The ice really is so pretty on everything, and it's a great reason to stay at home - I hope that's what you've done!
Beautiful but I bet it makes for a very cold slippery world!
Jo, get back inside. Ice is the bane of my existence. Spring must hurry this year. It has been too cold.

Ice is beautiful but ice scares me. It makes trees come down. But beautiful all the same. Lovingly, Andrea xoxo
It does make some great designs but then it is awful on the roads.
