"September days have the warmth of summer in their briefer hours,
But in their lengthening evenings a prophetic breath of autumn.
The cricket chirps in the noontide, making the most of what remains of his brief life.
The bumblebee is busy among the clover blossoms of the aftermath,
And their shrill and dreamy hum hold the outdoor world above the voices of the song birds,
Now silent or departed."-

Beautiful...and one of my favorite months!
Jo, I loved seeing all the beauty that you see around your place there. I always love to see the cats. Oliver being my favorite blog cat ever. I just felt like autumn was coming near yesterday. The bees ever so busy, the wooly worms....even some fallen leaves in the golden yellow color. Wishing you a great day there. Blessings my dear Jo, xoxo, Susie
Gorgeous, certainly makes me less sad about the demise of Summer and excited about Autumn.
Happy September!!! Hope you have a wonderful day! xo
That is such a lovely photo and quote. It makes me happy to visit your blog. I hope September treats you well. As I said on my blog I love September because it's half summer and half autumn, my two favorite seasons.
Love this photo...and I love this month, september is my month!
Have a happy weekend, take care.
