Porch-Sitting

Summer is the time when one sheds one's tensions with one's clothes, and the right kind of day is jeweled balm for the battered spirit.
A few of those days and you can become drunk with the belief that all's right with the world.

I envy you your porch Jo although here in England I know that if I had a porch, I wouldn't be sitting on it all that much because our summer weather isn't as good as yours. However, having said that, it was 30 degs here last Tuesday and we were all flaking out with the heat. Even the two cats didn't know where to put themselves.

What a wonderful porch Jo! I love the ferns, I never would have thought of them for my porch but they are so big it gives such an air of coziness... Hugs, LJ

You have a beautiful place to sit. I remember the ferns that looks so great in your outdoors living room. I like to just sit outside for the sake of doing so.

Jo, As hot as it was today, I did sit out for about 40 minutes. I just wanted to hear the birds and see the flowers. I like to be outside during summer. Here's to porch sitting, may we have many more great days of it. Blessings, xoxo, Susie
