Happy Days
And so, if you are confined to a hospital bed, or under limited-movement doctors- orders, then what could be more perfect than spending an entire day watching the 6th season of Downton Abbey, on PBS, Masterpiece Theatre..
My sweetie delivered a thermos of hot water, tea bags and a lovely china cup, making sure that I had all of the necessaries, even down to the battery-lit candles.
And because he knows how much I enjoy this program, he has ordered the entire collection, series one through six, it should be delivered just in time for my return home.
I'm brimming from ear to ear.

Oh it was such a great series. I loved it. It was sad seeing the last episode on Christmas Day. My daughter has recently discovered it so she has been watching it most days.
Hope you're feeling better and it's a great excuse to watch the telly!
That man is a keeper. I'm dreading the last episode. Can't bear to say goodbye to the series. Sigh.
Oh that was lovely of hubs , Yes Downton time with a cup a tea is wonderful , I am just sorry they are on their last season ever . Hope you recover fast and are able to get home soon .
A Downton day is just what the doctor ordered for your complete recovery. I recorded it, but have not had a chance to watch it. Perhaps tomorrow. Hope you are getting better each day.
That was so sweet of your husband. Glad you could have a pretty teacup for tea while in the hospital. Hope you're home soon!
It is such a great series. Glad you're enjoying it.
We still have one more episode to watch here. I know that most of the world knows what happened in the final episode, but that will be shown next Sunday here. I'm glad you are enjoying Season Six. I have loved the entire show. :-)
I am anxious to see the last episode! Can't believe they are making us wait two weeks but I did watch some of the reruns. Hubby sounds like a keeper! Hope you will be home soon.
A thoughtful husband is a treasure :)
In France we saw the last episode at Christmas....I really miss this wonderful serie and I guess it was the best that I have ever seen in my life !
Your dear husband is full of kindness.....
I think I am going to have to watch this show. My mother is a huge fan.
Feel better soon!
Yes you will enjoy that Jo. Have fun. Put yourself into it. Who is your favourite character? I like Maggie Smith's character. I think she's brilliant.,
Tea and Downtown Abbey sounds wonderful! Enjoy!
I'll have to be brave and admit it - I'm not a Downton fan - BUT, I am a fan of your sweetie.
How kind, sweet, and thoughtful of your sweetheart!
Hope you'll be home soon.
Hugs!
