View From My Window
Thunder clouds are forming overhead, we welcome any rain.
Summer flowers are limp on the vine.
Today a possum, a raccoon, a groundhog, wild turkeys and deer pass through, all searching for a place to quench their thirst.
The fruit from the neighbor's pear tree seems to satisfy their needs.
We have needed rain terribly bad. I water the plants with the garden hose but that just settles the dust, thankfully, we had a thunderstorm this afternoon and got one and a half inches of rain. Your pictures are beautiful!
you really do have some lush countryside there. Love the wild turkey picture. We use to live by a lake and the flock would come round every day like clockwork. So fun to watch.
I see a white rose in the background of your first photo. The watering can is wonderful. It is an old one. I like you squarish basket of blooms. It looks really good on the fence. I haven't planted cannas for years. They look great.
