That Was Easy

I was in the mood to do a little home decorating, updating kitchen counter-tops and new appliances.
Then I started looking at all the options, colors, and designs until my head began to ache, and my blood pressure shot up.
I have convinced myself, that what I have already is quite charming, and well.....timeless.
On to the next project.

I'm glad you're not trying to mess with perfection! :-)

It can be quite overwhelming when looking at all the options for changing things in a kitchen or any other room in the house. I get the bug to do that now and again and end up changing my mind just like you found yourself doing. My motto is if it isn't wore out and falling apart, rendering it completely useless, than it will remain just as it is. Sometimes the new stuff falls apart before you can even get it in the door. Why add grief to your life. Once in awhile you deserve something new, so treat yourself.

I like that sitting area in this photo looks so lovely ! It really can be very over whelming to change rooms about but I find just changing the decor can make a big difference . Thanks for sharing good luck with the final decision ! Have a good day !

Oh Jo, I'm glad someone else is like me. It is just to much work and mess. Just too much.

If it isn't broke don't touch it, what you have is already lovely x

Peace and contentment (not the latest equipment) make for a rich, satisfying life, methinks.

I recognize that, I sometimes want to update my interior too, but looking around I love my old things and stop immediately thinking about changes. So don't change, it looks wonderful as it is!

I do think a few "tweaks" are in order here.:-) Don't know that I'm such a fan of all the modern trends, though.:-)

With this move we are going to be down to bare bones.
I do get to keep my china and dining room furniture.

It does look really great. My desk area needs to be dusted but yours looks really good. I like the window sitting right next to you.
