Summer's Bounty
The wild blackberries are covering the canes......
Ripe for the picking, they accompanied me at breakfast this morning .
I am so jealous Jo. Ours are steaming and withering on the vine. They don't like the humidity and high temps. Guess I'll have to buy mine this year. Isn't it funny how some years I have gallons and other years, nada.
The wild blackberries look sweet and delicious. Much better looking than the big blackberry plant I bought at a nursery which has big berries with big seeds and not so sweet.

Lovely! Ours are ripening as well!
We still have some jam from last year.
that Bennie made. Hope our friend shares this year for a fresh
pie.

love them right off the vine
Beautiful! I buy mine at the farmer's market. They haven't been very sweet...perhaps this weekend. Hugs!
Wow, the berries look so beautiful. I can almost taste them.
They look good enough to eat...oh, they are! Great looking blog.
I remember having these on the farm when I was a kid. They are so tasty.
