Sugar And Spice and Everything Nice

Prince William's wife, Kate, ( Duchess of Cambridge ) has given birth to a healthy baby girl , a child now fourth in line to the British throne.

The Royal heir was born Saturday, after a brief labor.
The birth announcement, via a press release from Kensington Palace, said the princess was born at 08:34BST and weighed 8lbs 3oz.
Her name has not yet been disclosed, I'm keeping my fingers crossed it will be Elizabeth, my fourth generation namesake.

After less than a ten hour stay, the royal couple and their daughter left London's St Mary's Hospital for Kensington Palace - but not before the world got its first brief glimpse of the new royal baby.
She's a little 'corker'.*

We share in the celebration and well-wishes, of this exciting news.

 * Corker : In Britain means someone or something that is extra special.

Oh Jo, that is so exciting. I love the monarchy and like you, hope they honor the Queen with a namesake. She has dedicated her life to England and deserves that honor.

Thank you for explaining "corker". Every now and then I still hear an expression I am unfamiliar with. The new Princess is a little corker ;-)
