Tomorrow (Sunday) is the airing of episode two in Season 5 of The Downton Abbey series.
I'm still reeling from episode one.
As if the excitement isn't enough, directly following Downton Abbey, we are treated to a showing of The Queen's Garden.
With permission from the Queen, this program reveals a year in Buckingham Palace Gardens, uncovering a wonderland with a five century history, an urban oasis of wildlife where the Queen grew up and a ‘living museum’ where almost every plant (and some of the animals) have a royal story to tell. Premieres 1/11 at 10 pm ET. Check your local listings.
Whether you are a gardener, an Anglophile, or just plain want to escape these cold winter days, be sure to tune-in.

Thanks so much for the heads up about The Queen's Garden. I just about don't watch television but this is something that I will be very interested in seeing.
I'd have missed it but for you!
Wow! I have no idea what's on television any more... I'll have to watch this... looks wonderful.
That jar on the right looks like its from the Delft.
Jo, I watched it and just smiled and smiled. I saw a show before Downton called the great british bakeoff or something like that. It was a three hour anglophile high for me.
I will have to look for it! :) Any garden would work this time of year!
Tennessee is happy to have you! It is a beautiful place to plant a garden and build a life. Thank you for sharing!
I saw "The Queen's Garden" advertised but I go to bed early. Tonight it is showing earlier so I'm going to see it. Love Downton too.
