Morning Glory
The Morning Glory seeds have been planted.
Sadly we won't be graced with their beauty until late summer.
In the meantime I'll just have to be content with my Morning Glory pillow case.
I have new seed this year in which to plant. Up here our ground is frozen solid 20 inches deep now. When the top surface gets muddy I will scatter early this year. I didn't have any all last summer. I did enjoy your blue ones.
Lovely pillowcase! My husband has planted three rows of potatoes and one of onions. Then we turned cold again! Now the rain has made things muddy. Planting will be possible again, though.
After admiring yours each year Jo, last year I planted some of my own, in pots. Our Spring was so wet and cold that all the seedling died! Not to be outdone, I replanted a new set and when the seedlings came up, I put them in the ground next to the shed with supports so they could grow up the side and not interfere with the Sweet Williams below. They were delightful. It was worth it in the end. This Spring I bought some more. This year I have hopes that we will have an early drier Spring so they will go directly into the ground. Wish me luck. I will post on the results later, as I'm sure you will? The pillowcase is lovely. Did you make it yourself?
Jo, I am hoping my blue morning glories reseeded themselves. I am not sure if that happens. I love the blue color. Blessings for a great weekend, xoxo,Susie
I have just the spot for Morning Glories this year. I don't remember ever growing a Morning Glory vine before! The pillowcase is beautiful. Oh, I love the teapot with the Pansies in your last post!

Morning glories are beautiful, but such a nuisance wrapping themselves around my plants and choking them out. I'd rather have your pretty pillowcase!
I have sown Moening Glories too. Your pillow case is so lovely.

Well Jo, I really do covet that pillow case. It's a beautiful pattern. Happy weekend to you my friend :)
That pillow case is beautiful. I look forward to seeing your pretty morning glories in the summer, though. :-)
