Some
days it's good to do nothing.
No deadlines to meet, no chores to complete,
no lists to check twice.A day to lounge in the comfort of your pajamas and woolly socks, to gaze out of the window and watch the falling leaves drift slowly to the ground.
A day for sipping cups of tea and curling up by the fireside with a portly feline at your side.
A simple day.

Sounds good to me Jo!
It sounds like a great day. You photo is wonderful.
So glad you're getting to do that Jo. Hopefully, I'll get some time too. It is too cold today to go out and by tomorrow, all the leaves and grasses should turn brown.
Your picture is fabulous. And I am joining you in a bit of tea, although our virtual "table" is rather wide. :-)
And today feels like it should be such a day. It's cold out there!
Sounds just about perfect.
Merle.........
Your day sounds absolutely wonderful!!! I wish I could have spent my day that way, especially since we woke up to two inches of snow and 27 degrees. Perfect day for staying in, but in my opinion, every day is a perfect day I don't have to go to work. Ha - but staying home doesn't keep the roof over my head.

Sounds like a perfect day to me....

Wish I could have stayed home sipping tea and listening to some good music. But alas, it's work for me. Have a good day!
A wonderful way to spend the day!
I love days as you described. They are gems aren't they! When the children went off to school( years ago)....once in a while I'd spend the whole day reading and reading. No one knew but me....and I so enjoyed the tranquility. Thanks for the memory.....love your music. I have the piano music to that but have always struggled to play it....ah well. I'll come here to listen !
Hmmm...I think I'm going to go get a cup of tea...I've already got a feline in my lap!!!
Perfect day. I just love Oliver. I am off to fix myself a cup of tea....
