August Days

"Fairest of the months
Ripe summer's queen
The hey-day of the year
With robes that gleam with sunny sheen
Sweet August doth appear."

Can you believe it is already August, Jo? My garden is still producing and it is usually burned up by now. Crazy weather affects nature's time clock.

My favorite month; some important personal celebrations in August! I love the way you have kept your black background all these years on your blog. It really makes the photos glow.

I love Autumn and can't believe it's just about upon us. Amazing how fast this year has gone. I love your photo that goes with your poem as well. Hugs. Tammy

Ah yes August is a month of it's own distinction. Winter will be welcomed once we survive the heat August

That's a beautiful picture. But why does summer always seem to fly by so fast?
