And The Rains Came
Ten inches of rainfall fell in the past two days, filling the creeks and streams to capacity.
The humidity slowly rises each day, even the birds have taken to their cool nesting spots beneath the tree canopies.
Such are the days of August....
We just couldn't believe the reports of all that rainfall! It was predicted for us as well, but somehow missed us until this afternoon when we had 1/2 inch here at the house. I hope you weren't in any peril with the flooding.
Lovely photos love the little stream ! That's what I don't like when it rains in August here it makes it more humid as all the moister that just fell from the sky goes back up causing more humidity ! But we have been lucky so far this month it has been cooler during the days less humidity or none at all , chilly at night and even the odd dewy morning and when it does rain the clouds have been bringing a cold front so it is a bit chilly after . Thanks for sharing ! Have a good week !
A beautiful picture of the streaming water. You had a lot of rain, here it is rather dry, we have not had rain for a long time, just some little showers.
I didn't know you'd had all that rain. Now Larry is here with me, we don't know what is going on in Tennessee. Strange feeling, that is. Love your stream pic. Isn't that neat! I hope the humidity drops a little soon.

I love the first photo of the stream/creek! And you are right, Mother Nature is really letting us know August is here!
