Our first snowfall of the year, magically transforming the landscape.
May you stay warm on the inside, when it's cold on the outside.
Out of the bosom of the air,
Out of the cloudfolds of her garment shaken,
Over the woodlands, brown and bare
Over the harvest-fields forsaken,
Silent, and soft, and slow
Descends the snow.
~~By Henry Wadsworth Longfellow.~~

It is pretty JO, but i'm going to repot some blood oranges in the greenhouse today. I need some spring.
Incredible, that's quite late for a first snow!
Beautiful image.
The sun finally came back on this side of the big pond. And most of the snow is gone now.
A wonderful weekend to you,
Merisi
The picture and poem are both so beautiful.
We have had some snow in the past months, but it seems Spring is under way here ; )
Have a great day.
Oh no!
But hopefully at this time of year it won't last long!
Brrr! It looks quite cold, and just right to snuggle up inside and look out at the beauty. :-)
Am Longfellow and new fallen snow :)
Very nice. We only received a dusting of snow, but sooooo cold!
First snow! Wow! I am watching for the first sign of Spring here. No luck so far.
That's so pretty Jo. I guess I'll just have to enjoy everyone else's snow photos!
We had snow today for a brief time.
Slept too late to get a pic!
Thanks for sharing yours....
Pretty yes but I've seen so much of it this winter. Please don't send us any more!
Snow always looks pretty in the photographs. Your photo looks lovely Jo.
We've had snow three times this winter in comparison to last year when we had none.
It's such a shame when it comes late and spoils the spring flowers.
Looks very pretty Jo. Always does in the photos.
To help the daffs along!
March is coming in like a lion.
Lovely! Snow is predicted for us mid-week--We'll see what happens!
I hope you're enjoying your day, and staying warm! :-)
It has been really cold here, though our snow was only in flurries or snow showers, and we had no accumulation. Brr! Stay warm!
