A mild winter, with days warming to higher than average temperatures.
The warmer weather, has forced the Iris shoots to poke through the soil.
I trust they know that the season is not yet over.
The bird feeders
have been a flurry of activity, and I've witnessed Spring cleaning of the
birdhouses.
A busy little Carolina Wren, with her beak full of feathers, moss and sticks, flinging it all so recklessly with little regard for it's former tenant.

The deer visit nightly
There are definite signs of spring.
Even the Lamb's Ear is looking perky.

Our winter has been pretty normal. Some cold nights and days, but nothing out of the ordinary. Nothing especially warm, though! I see signs of spring everywhere, and it warms my heart! :-)
Yesterday was wonderful, I was outside most of the day. Planning for Spring. Today it feels about 10 degrees colder and I am back to two fleeces!
Love the deer and the geese!
Our winter has been mild up until now. Snow storms every week, oh well spring is just around the corner for us too. (a little closer for you!) Love the spring preview pics!
We've had a mild winter too... although our definitions vary so greatly for the term "mild". I adore your pictures & indeed it does look like spring is on the way. I am soooo ready, aren't you?
Blessings--Andrea
XOXOXO
We are having early signs of spring as well! Not sure if that is a good thing or not!
Old Man Winter has put in a return appearance on the Plateau for the past few days. I'm ready for the return of some of those balmy days.
Yes, there may still be some winter ahead before spring really makes an entrance. Lovely pictures!
No spring here - it's snowing like crazy.
I can't believe how early your spring is--I'm just seeing the earliest buds and I hope they stay 'sleeping' for just a little while longer.
Hi little leaves and flowers and buds! Spring is coming!

Oh to see perky lambs ear again would be lovely.
The night shot of the deer with the Canadian goose is so interesting.
To have a mild winter would be my wish about now .
We have had snow, snow and did I mention SNOW , here in New England.
Snow posts seems to be my blog theme of late , and more snow on the way!
Your blog is such a lovely place to stroll .
Just found you from one of my new followers, I loved seeing your early spring photos.. We have had a cold winter this year where I live in France. Two weeks ago the sun appeared & stayed for a few days and all the little plants thought spring had arrived, but it was only teasing us as then we had severe frost followed by snow, I can't wait for spring to finally come to stay.I love what I have seen of your blog & will now be your new follower.
