The Gentle Giant

"The tree which moves some to tears of joy, Is in the eyes of others only a green thing that stands in the way. Some see Nature all ridicule and deformity, and some scarce see Nature at all. But to the eyes of the man of imagination, Nature is Imagination itself."

~ William Blake, 1799, The Letters

My comment disappeared so I'll try this again! Just have to because the Hermitage is one of my favorite places. As a room mother I went there many, many years with a car full of kids. Finally I went there alone and took my time strolling through Rachel's Garden. It is a lovely place and you feel transported back to another time. Not that those times were always nice ones but there was a beauty too.
