"It was the month of May, the month when the foliage of herbs and trees is most freshly green, when buds ripened and blossoms appear in their fragrance and loveliness.
And the month when lovers, subject to the same force which reawakens the plants, feel their hearts open again, recall past trysts and past vows, and moments of tenderness, and yearn for a renewal of the magical awareness which is love."
~ Sir Thomas Malory, La Morte d'Arthur

I love looking at the flowers in your garden Jo, everything is so pretty. Hope all goes well with you, we've had quite a bit of rain but looks as though the sun is shining today.
Love your blog, just discovered you from Going Gently, he follows us, we follow him, now we follow you, ha. It's the great blog circle of life, LOL! Anyway, beautiful blog, wonderful photos, keep up the good work!
They are all so great to see. Lilies are one of my favorites to grow and to see. It is a beautiful garden area with the metal fence.
It is a wonderful time of the year.
Not to hot ,not to cool just right for man and flower.
Beautiful flowers! I love your photography and the literature you include in your posts!
Fabulous flowers. I especially love the white one with all the red dots. Gorgeous! :-)
These are beautiful lilies. Ours are just starting to bloom.
Oh, I love May! It's the month when the garden seems perfect, before the weeds take over and the ants chew little holes and everything gets dry and crispy. In May everything is dewy and green and whole and perfect.
Your lilies are spectacular!
Hi Jo, I still cannot believe that it's MAY... Where did April go???? ha ha
Love your flowers. Reminds me of ours!!!!!
When I first started reading your post, I immediately thought of a little madrigal song I used to sing: "Now is the Month of Maying".... Heard that one???
Hugs,
Betsy

You have splendid blooms in your garden. They are gorgeous indeed!
Have a great week! Take care, Farida:)
The garden is so beautiful and the bird-bath is exquisite. I love your photos of the flowers. Thanks for dropping by. We do have screens and the cats can do a number on them, for sure. Soon we will have the screened in porch ready and they leave that screen alone as they are just so happy to be outside. Hugs, Deb
