Bringing Home The Tree

"Christmas--that magic blanket that wraps itself about us,
that something so intangible that it is like a fragrance.
It may weave a spell of nostalgia.
Christmas may be a day of feasting, or of prayer,
but always it will be a day of remembrance
--a day in which we think of everything we have ever loved."

Your verse and picture led me to remember (and miss) my sheepdog. Wish he were here to help us fetch our tree this year. Jim

I have memories of bringing home the tree in a tractor drawn cart! And of the December when we were gathering our holly, running cedar and pine for decorating and I cut my leg with Dad's double bladed axe! So long ago so fresh in my memory!

Merry Christmas Jo!
