Nesting Days.

Today we had our first rainfall in almost three weeks. It's one of those dark, quiet days, the kind that begs you to nestle in the fold, put a soup in the pot, and enjoy the coziness of home.

A new potting shed wreath from recycled willow tendrils and berry vines.

Leaves to welcome the season.

Leaves that are demanding attention.

I always think better over a cup of tea ;)

We went for weeks without rain. Now that it has started to rain it doesn't want to stop!

"There is no trouble so great or grave that cannot be much diminished by a cup of tea."

Whoops, after I typed this quote I noticed that you have it on your side bar, which is good because I forgot who said it!

Stay dry and cozy.

Hi Jo, We got NO rain from this latest system.... Darn---we needed it.

Looks like your yard work is just beginning. Ours are GONE--and not many more on the trees. Yeah!!!! Let Winter come!!!

Hugs,
Betsy

Lovely, thank you.

Rain is an equalizer: it gets us all cozy inside our warm nests and allows me, at least, to pick up my knitting and sip my tea. And then if I feel like it, I can slap on all my rain gear and go for an invigorating walk!

The colors of your photos are wonderful. I always enjoy you home pictures and how you decorate it. Thanks for sharing it all. I hope you go along ok with your tooth crown. Mine is driving me crazy as I think it is not a good fit. Take care.

Your images are just so beautiful. I love the wreaths too-did you make them?
It is Morning tea time here in Australia now so I am off to have a cup of Twinnings Afternoon tea and a biscuit!
Best wishes, Natasha.

Jo, I'll have to start sending you the weather reports. Seems you get the weather we had a couple of days earlier.

Jo, I just put the kettle on. I wish that it would rain here in California.

Love your wreaths, but that fungus on the bench makes for a stunning photo!

Over here we get nothing but rain! winter, summer, autumn, spring, it's all the same. We get no snow, just rain! Infact we have a saying here in Ireland;
Question: what are the two favourite days in the Irish callender?
Answer: Christmas day, and Summer!
