Welcome to my blog...
Well, it's been quite a long trip here, from my homeland of England, to the beautiful Tennessee countryside.
I was born and raised in the county of Cheshire, England in a small village, well known for one of it's local authors' the writer of Alice in Wonderland.
I met and married my future husband in the early seventies, we were a military family, and not long after being married, moved to Colorado Springs, Colorado. We settled in my husbands native State of Tennessee and for the past thirty four years, I have considered this my little bit of England, here in Tennessee.

Josephine, so happy you have started a blog, as I wondered about you but you had no link.
So you're another expat, although been here alot longer than I have.
BTW where in Cheshire? My parents were both born and married in Prestbury and I spent alot of time in that area during my life.
Lovely to get to 'meet you'
BTW if you need any blog help just ask me and I'll try
Brit' Gal Sarah,
Thank you for my first comment !!
I am originally from Warrington, Cheshire, although my home is now a little village on the outskirts.
Thank you for the offer of blog help, I will surely need it ;)
Welcome to blogging! I am an Anglophile in KY who loves tea! I found you on Brit' Gal Sarah's blog.
Thank you for leaving such an interesting comment on my blog! Homely, indeed! And welcome to the blogging world! I'll add your blog to my 'across the us' bloglist.
Hello BIT!!
I love your Earl Scruggs video! This looks like a nice place to visit. Please tell me that your header photo is your garden...it looks like a dream! I have a few British friends now from Blogging. Two of my very favorite people now. Now I'm off to look around your place. What fun! Oh I'm moving to northern Alabama soon, we'll almost be neighbors!
It's wonderful that you settled in to such a green part of this country, though some Brits move to the desert (such as Palm Springs) and love it. Green--and moisture--is a must!
